I used to live in Des Moines for a couple years, it was pretty, hills, trees, rivers, but man was it boring for a teenager, I couldn't wait to get back to Dallas

Maybe I've changed, IIRC, they had Quick Trips, QT's instead of Circle K's back then, awesome corn, Mom had a farmer down the road that would save us the good ears, just picked that morning, we'd have the big pot boiling on the stove and I'd shuck them in the VistaCruiser on the way back home (no time to waste, the sugars are breaking down by the second ), butter and a little salt and pepper, WooF!! Yeah I'll go if there's fresh corn!!
