Today's sermon is about the importance of giving. Yesterday, Geri and I left in the morning with the Buick Estate Wagon full of, mostly, audio gear destined to good homes. Geri's eldest daughter was moving to a new residence and I had promised her I would set her up with a system so she could play records which had been handed down to her. My youngest son had also moved to a new place three months ago, and we had sorted through a few items left at the house after our big decluttering session three weekends back. And I had a few entry level components I had set aside for Gordon at Innovative Audio.

I see a nice Marantz 2240, a great Garrard with a Shure cart.(you tied down that arm right?), some killer old KEF speaks, you are a super nice Dad, they better take you out for a nice brunch on Father's Day

That Garrard happens to be what me ole man had back when I was 3, and stole it from him / took it upstairs. Got my ass beat, then did it again a week later..

That and his Sansui 2000x.. heheh
