Think you are right. First time I smelled one walking past I was like no way, does he know he smells like weed? After I was like hell they smell that way and no one seems to care. I don't know. Jobs I had you may sneak around sometimes but you damn sure better not get caught. Let alone come in smelling like alcohol or weed.

Its legal here now so hell yeah, I smell it all the time. It's been legal here for a couple years but the dorks in charge, couldn't get their poop in one pile, all this time and the dispensaries just opened yesterday.
 
I don't see shit wrong with it. Causes less trouble than alcohol from what I see. I just don't smoke it. Don't like the was it makes me feel. And eventually I always wind up getting way too damn thirsty when I do. When I get too damn thirsty from smoking and start back drinking I get a bad rash every fucking time. A horrible rash. A rash DUI's, fights, blackouts, all kinds of nasty shit starts happening. Some folks can't "hold their liquor". Thats me. Plain and simple. Ain't never been able to. When I drink I am eventually going to wind up drunk and the shit is going to hit the fan. I just don't drink alcohol period. I don't like the person I become when I do. Some folks can tap dance. I can't tap dance.
 
Its been legal in Canada since 2018 and I strongly suspect that is what got Justin Trudeau elected Premier.

The provinces are resposible for regulating sales, production, rules for consumption, etc, etc. I don't use it so I'm not well informed but I think rules and regulations regarding dispenseries are still being fine tuned.

I do not think selling legal cannibis is all that profitable.

Where I live now in small town South Central BC, it could be that most of the population are frequent users because the aroma is pervasive. And of those I've conversed with, none buy cannabis at a dispensery mostly due to cost. They either grow their own, a certain number of plants is permissable, or they buy black market online. It sounds to me like the good ol' neighbourhood dealer is a thing of the past.
 
Always like the open minds and discussion we have here on the Phoenix site. Go to other sites and try this. They will run you off with a stick. Pussys. Open and hones discussion is something for some reason that seems lacking of late in the USA. Seems like more open violence and hate to me. I avoid the news channels just for that reason. I want to get along with my fellow world members. One day when the Aliens land (if the aren't already here) we are all going to need each other. Probably guns, food, water and all to survive. Its called the Human Race for a reason. Call me left wing call me right. All part of the same bird. Besides, we may have some Hi Fi we wanna swap one day. HA!
 
MA legalized it around 2018 and did a reasonably good job setting up commissions to create rules and regulations. MA is very good at that. MA law permits you to grow your own up to 5 or 6 plants, kept out of public view. Many do. Dispensaries were set up pretty quickly in towns that permitted it. Some towns, like mine, put prohibition by bylaw in place. The industry is relatively mature here and some shakeout has occurred. A knowledgeable source told me recently that the MA weed prices at dispensaries are some of the lowest in the nation. I suppose there is a 'gas buddy' type of app that informs you of that and who has the lowest prices.
