Fixed it!

All I had to do was spray Deoxit D-5 in the selector switch and volume pot and the channel dropouts are gone on my JVC R-S5! That was simple enough!

It's always nice when you find an easy fix.... Ha, maybe I should send you all my broken things!

I worked all Sunday night into Monday and got a back spasm from rearranging both sheds so that all the cassette decks, receivers/amps, CD players and video equipment were laid out separately and in the states that could be photographed and cataloged for sales and dispersal, packed the rest in there and then the floppy disk wouldn't register properly (XP asked if I wanted to format)!!!
