Hey guys...got my first 700 done today, as far as the WO board build/install. First impressions:
Effortless magnificence...listening to "Wish You Were Here", "welcome to the Machine" right now. It's amazing. The bass is clear, controlled, tight, and punchy. The mids and high end soar. I had to turn down the tweeter levels on my Dahlquists, and flatten the eq. I've got just a bit of boost in the 40 Hz region now, and I'm not so sure I need that. I could do the same thing by turning up my crossover output to the subwoofers.
It's amazing. Joe, you really did a job on these PL mods. I'm a believer.
Tomorrow I'll start building the other board, and maybe my Light Boards will arrive in the mail too. I'm having a blast out here in the frozen dead of winter!
