From 1984 up to 2001, when I lost a a momentarily interest in cassette decks and recording, I used to record, every December, a hand picked selection from all the CD's and LP's bought that year, and recorded it on a cassette tape with the title "Best of 1984",etc. Now, after 30 years, I'm doing another selection, this time from those year's best. For this project, I have been using most of my recorders just to add some flavor into it: Teac Z 5000 & Z 6000, Revox B 215S, NAD 6300, Nakamichi ZX 9,etc... Here're some photos. Enjoy!

Carlos: Nice to see all those premium cassette decks being used. Now, what would you select for a "2014 - Best Of New Releases" mix tape?

Carlos: I was thinking more along the lines of new releases for music in 2014. All your cassette decks are more than capable of a stellar recording.

Oh! Well, my compilations are made from all the different genres I buy during that specific year. Let's suppose that I bought 25 CD's. From those 25 CD's I choose my favorite tracks and put it in a "The Best of 2013" for example. Mostly Jazz, Pop and any other style. Sometimes a year compilation has 2 volumes and so on...
