Dr. Zhivago - it was one of my very first vinyl purchases, I had it for decades before I ever got around to seeing the movie (except for bits and pieces), and I still have it.

The Long Riders - I like the movie and LOVE the soundtrack. I got it as a CD, an expen$ive German pressing, and some of the English-sung words did not get translated into English-print words by the Germans. For an American, it would have been a cinch.

The Mission - by Ennio Morricone - great music.

The Fifth Element - saw it first in the theater, and didn't much like it. In time, I liked it more and more, found a Superbit copy (it killed a cheap DVD player), and bought the soundtrack.
