Faceplate Bolts

The current price for Marantz faceplate bolts on Ebay is $12.95 Each. Time to make my own. Hand sanded from standard aluminum bolts. I don't have any grinders or buffers. This is a work in progress. I am still developing my technique.

Jim , if you need some like the PL aluminum bolts, I have quite a stash.
 
Jim the PL's are 1/2 inch thread, 1/16 shoulder, and 1/4 inch head.

Thanks, with the new caps in my PL400 I have the faceplate shimmed forward. The 1 inch bolts I just made will work perfect. (you can't tell the difference from a few feet.
By the way, I have a perfectly working 14a board and original meter board with all working lights. Can you use them. If you can let me know and I'll send them to you. (Hopefully they can bring another PL400 back to life).
 
ED Blackwood is the PL amp GOD. He has requested access to all the old boards I came up with. It has opened the door to some parts we normally wouldn't get. I'll PM ya Ed's address , he's right around the corner in Seattle.
And when I say "WE" when it comes to parts , well you know how I am about that....
