Sold

I have two Marantz PMD502 Cassette decks. They are two head auto reverse decks with switchable MPX filters, Dolby B/C, +/-15% pitch adjustable, adjustable head phone and adjustable RCA outputs and they also have ALC if you don't like setting your meters.

Deck#1 The deck is in very good cosmetic and functional condition and comes with a copy of the manual. Deck #1 make offer plus shipping costs. The pinch rollers an this deck are very clean also leading me to believe it had very low hours also.

Deck#2 is in Excellent cosmetic and functional condition and probably has on a few hours at most on it. It is as clean a deck as you will find unless you find a new one. It comes with original box. packing materials ,original owners manual and rca cables. Deck #2 has been sold on ebay.

These decks were made in Japan between 1997 and 2005, and while they are not high end decks by any means they do record and play back like they were new. The 15 % pitch control might come in handy to some of you. I did some recording today using the auto level control and the recordings sounded faithful to the original sources.

I bought them both about 5+ years ago at a Music go round store and needless to say with 30 decks I really only plugged them in and used them once. I am working at selling some of my excess audio gear so my loss here can be you gain. Thirty something cassette decks are just too many. :rabbit:

Any other questions please ask in this thread or pm me.

Thanks

Deck #1 - Make offer plus shipping.

I wonder if there is someone who has 50 plus PL amps in his possession. :rabbit:

I really haven't acquired any new gear in years, just too lazy to get rid of some of it.

Bummer, I thought you had enough to work on for years. Do you know who bought them? And what are they doing with them?

That's generally the way it works for humans too.

Got any good working 3 head decks you wanna part with John?
Ben, I guess it depends upon your definition of good. I do have some three heads decks I am planning on selling in the near future. I need to hook them up and give them a work out though.

I have an Awia, JVC, Sony and Philips that I probably will be selling. I'll have to dig out the model numbers a little later on tonight as the dog is pestering me for her second walk of the evening.

Much as I love to sell gear here, on ebay it sells with in a few days. Here and at TH it sits and I don't even get inquiries.

Depending on which model Sony it is, I might be interested in that.

I have two Sony decks, but I am not pretty sure only one will probably be for sale and that is a TC-KE500S, I am going to hang on to the TC-K870ES deck as it matches my ES stack of Sony gear.
