Gary (gklainer) has a beautiful fully operational 440 (pretty much the same amp) available for $300 + shipping, why buy a headache when you can get a nice one for a couple bucks more? Gary also is a topnotch dude to deal with and stands behind anything he sells
"A fully functional and recently serviced Nikko Alpha 440 amplifier. 220 WPC into 8 ohms. 240 WPC into 4 ohms. The amplifier has a very nice faceplate and is very clean. The amp is clear in both channels. The meters are fully functional. The amp has gain controls in the rear and will support two pairs of speakers. $300 plus shipping or local pickup preferred.
