Early, Clean PL 400 - S/N 942-166

Hi all. I dove into my 400 Series I today, and found it to be really clean inside as well as what I think is a very early unit. Thought you all would be interested in seeing some pictures. Note the different size filter caps. They're rated the same; just a different form factor (?). Interestingly, they're only rated to 75V though.

So far, I've found two shorted outputs in the offending channel... More to come!

Wow, from the photos, the main DC caps are a few months short of 50 years old. The driver board appears to be a prototype. Good for nostalgia. Not necessarily good for long term reliability.
