Dynaco PAT-4 Preamp and FM-5 Tuner

Might go nice with the old stereo 400?

These are both home-built, right? I think I was told screws around the RCAs indicate home build and the factory used pop rivets.

I also recall the designation "PAT-4A" ... "A" meant assembled at the factory.

This is the one I built in the late 70s - and recently rebuilt/replaced the all the components on the boards, as well as all the other caps. Parts were from "Ed" on ebay.
Is "Ed" here on Phxaudiotape? He seems to know Dynaco and many other brands from the day very well.

Awesome Dynaco system! I just got a pair of A10 speakers from a friend who had them in a closet for the past 40+ years. While their sound is far from an A25, they are very impressive for a small room.
