Yeah Larrt, it was one of two factory dummy loads for load testing either random production testing or warranty work. How cool is that????

Nice, a stereo dummy load. It would be good to do a test with your ATS-1 with the dummy load connected and with it disconnected to see what the difference a pure 1000 Watt resistive load makes on the back of a modified PL 700B.
