Hi
I know I'm not the only one who suffers from it. I take some very potent meds to just keep me half way balanced. The last week has been a little rough. A lot of things going on and I dropped pretty deep and fast into one of my bouts with it. I make myself get on here the computer I mean. You guys don't even know. I won't talk on the phone. I don't go out in public unless I have to. I can see it; but I can't fix it. I have been fighting the recluse thing really hard for the last year. I can count on my one hand how often I have been in public in the last year. I'm not laying my problems on you. I'm just talking about what a lot of people go through. It isn't fun.

Larry, I so hear ya, Jerry is the only person from the boards I've talked to this year, I wouldn't even call Matt when he asked nicely, I shy from all my close friends, don't answer the door, my parents have to call (I screen calls too) before they stop by, I took some anti-things, they made things worse, so my Doc took me off, I had a brain tumor in '07 remember, so I might have some issues with that med wise, every once in a while a piece of love comes through the clouds ie; HD from gamve, Creek/AKG, talking wiyh ya'll here..... :lurk:   :walk: :walk:

And for a moment it's s'all good! Luv to ya Larry :toothy10: :toothy10:

Hang in there Larry. The old black dog gets hold of a lot more people than most people realize. I'm also prone to some bouts now and then but I have learned to know the symptoms and now handle it a lot better than I used to. I guess that your affliction is really nasty having to take a lot of meds. All we can do is wish you well and hope you feel better shortly.

Led Zeppelin had a great Black Dog, liked to Ramble On and knew a Living Loving Maid.

Vinylize. This homework won't swamp you.

EDIT: I can spell Miss-iss-ipp-i but I trip over Zep and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

At least I can spell ABC and ZZ Top!

The recluse is bad. I have been on some nasties before. Meds are different for everyone. I not only take the regular ones. I take narcotics too. A dude was lying about me once 6'3" 320 lbs. I climbed up in his face and told him I would kick his butt. I was littler then. Some of the meds aren't fun. If I don't take mine my wife knows within minutes. I can get nasty angry. I ran out of the narcotics a couple times. With the VA it isn't they call in a script for you. You wait till they get to you. Going trough withdrawal of narcotics isn't funny. That is how this forum started. LOL In the morning I take some meds. On my pain meds the next step is percs. They kill the pain and make me very funny. I keep forgetting I just took one on them. Yea right. The stuff I take I don't get a buzz from. I get on my scooter and go to my safe places. They are few and far between but I do have them. I can't drive anymore because of the drugs. I am on some potent stuff. I'm on a non-narcotic they put in the narcotics locker it is that powerful. At times it don't kill the pain. Anyone who is pain I tell them to ask their Doc for them. They work

Thank you Craig
I try very hard to be the best person I can. you know people wear a WWJD bracelets and things. I try very hard to do that. That is my major goal in life. Sometimes it is hard work. I try very hard not to swear and I try very hard to help people who need it. I know I'll never be rich. Been there done that. I just wake up and look in the mirror and try to like what I see. I have a very strict code for myself not others so much but one for myself. The major thing in life is you have to have the feeling that you are loved. If you have that feeling you can pass it on to others. No one knows this. I am an ordained minister. I don't beleive in religion. I don't wear it on my sleeve. I try to do it by actions. I do surround myself with good people. I have a don't ask don't tell rule where God is concerned. WWJD is actions not words. People can see a fraud a mile away.

Well the cat is out of the bag. LOL

Have a good day

Wow Larry, can't say I'm not surprised by your 'outing', as you say I can spot one (good folks) a mile away, I have a strong dislike of organized churches as of late however, I believe  , if I didn't, I don't know what else to do, maybe listen to tunes, watch the pretty cars turn left again, and again :walk: :walk: :toothy7:

Sounds like you need a hug :love6:

Please watch those pills, even with the blocker, you could be in trouble, get a second opinion from somewhere else, I care about ya buddy

Stuwee I don't believe in organized relegion at all. No where in the bible does it say you have to be any thing to get into heaven I mean like a Baptist or any thing. It doesn't say shove it down people throat.

The pills. Craig I have been on them for many years now. I'm ok. I have been to a lot of doctors. My other gave me percs this one won't. I'll tell you about him one day. He spent 10 years in a Taliban prison. He is a real good guy.

I think FF takes liquid forgetfulness swigs on Friday so he can oust the treasured memory of his favorite colleagues for the weekend. Other than that the same could apply to a lot of us. I don't look for a clock tower, but instead dream of bringing Louisville Slugger to work some days. Did I say some days? I meant most days. :joker:

In this day in time people think they are weak if they get help' That isn't true. Then we do dumb things like when we feel good we quit doing the things that made us feel good because we are cured. You can get situational depression. Death of a love one. A new baby you aren't ready for. Being in debt. I think most people who are depressed is a person who is critical of themselves. They beat them selves up. Talking does help.
