Question from yesteryear: Does anyone have an idea if I can get a new solenoid for the Denon UDR-F07?
The one in mine is toast, even Lutz (Lucky from TapeHeads) couldn't fix it. I put it somewhere a long time ago, and can't find it anymore though.
Anyways, I did pull out the Denon UDR-F07. After messing around, and doing what the solenoid should do (push a plastic pin in or out), I did get it to play. It worked!
I really don't want to have to junk this deck just because of the missing solenoid. Anyone got an idea what solenoid would do?
It looked like this, incase that helps (fuzzy old picture warning!)

I can't find a service manual for this one, but there is a deck very similar to this (it's pretty much a double well version of this) the UDR-65, and I think I have found a good SM for that.
Reading it, the Solenoid is Denon part 9480001604. Anyone got a spare?
Here is the service manual, incase that helps out.
