What tape did I send ya with the Denon around xmas time? If it was a MS-X, then that's purported to be a Shack HD8 clone, if I do believe..

I don't remember and I got all sorts of stuff then like Metal Capsule 54, 80s MX but the only RS tapes I have are Supertape XR and HD, some used mid 70s 'metallic' J-card like the 5" reel new from Nando plus a used reel of that type and the Concertapes and acetate, polyester/mylar Realistic 7".

The trader of that HD-8 also sold me a new DX8 and I sent him three Blue BASF Ferro Super Is of six I bought from braxus, one of which was used for the mixtape Gamve requested in his Christmas package and THAT is excellent tape!

Denon cassette decks are the only brand I have had luck with...I mean they actually still work when you buy one, and I actually think they wound pretty darn good.
