I think that's what I had one of on the way. Metal Particle Type II. I have a TDK HX-S and am impressed.

Ooh yeah, I remember those HX-S tapes being really good. I had one still from the "old days", but I think it got whacked in a bad tape deck a year or so ago.

 How dare you!!

Asking a respected mod his length?? Just ask any hooker up in Chaska  , and no, that smiley does not mean 'that' big

I wouldn't sell my small stash of HD-8's from anything, gotta say thanks to my buddy Graham for mine

and it's not a 'true' type II, it's impregnated with metal, just like that bitch on the movie 'Aliens' Hahah, love ya Steven, get well :toothy7: :toothy10: :toothy7:

Hi Stu. Yep they were a good score as I remember. I did get a nice heap of them when the going was good and have used only a few. I agree these are one of the better type II's

What tape did I send ya with the Denon around xmas time? If it was a MS-X, then that's purported to be a Shack HD8 clone, if I do believe..

I will look and hope I did not parcel it out to a friend or relative by mistake.

I DO have HX-S FROM AN AUCTION LOT.

Unforgettable Fire-U2 and Whiplash Smile-Billy Idol.

Muy quiet and clean!
