Hang some Christmas tree lights from that stack and you can save a couple bucks on a tree
I have a 1937 Silvertone 4589 three-band with a gold dial, 6U5 magic eye and two neon lamps on the sides of the eye.

That's Standard (AM broadcast), Police band and shortwave (Foreign) with a bandspread of 530 kilocycles to 19 megacycles.

It also features a selectivity-wideness adjustment that is mightly handy for opening the RF to the amp for quality sound or narrowing it for readability when needed.

That is MY Christmas tree so bug me to find that certain photo to post for smile inducement purposes?

Hey Larry......I'll get it out of your way...You can just put the working parts in a new chassis and send it to me...First put it in a small box with lots of that styrofoam around it....then put that box in a larger box with LOTS of packing peanuts around the inside box..We probably need to test drop it from a dock on concrete and see if it survives...

Or you can just send me two or three Yamaha K-1000's or K-1020, or KX-1200's or whatever...which all work, and maybe ONE will survive the trip. Pack them like they ae going to be dropped and insure each one for $1,000.00 and we'll make some money..just send it by UPS. At least they will pay a claim..

No I'll fix it. I'm just trying to clean up the garage. LOL Now going on day 2. Then I can get the sound room ready for a floor. Did you put the styrofoam around it or is that how I sent it. That is a box I got a deck in. I'm getting there. The projects I have won't take long. If I just do them. LOL So it will get fixed.

Larry
