Dave, what does this scope trace mean

10 micro seconds, 45K hz I believe, 800 MV output. The only response i could get out of the 8th xer.

Not sure.Could be noisy power supply. 45khz --what are you testing?

That switchmode power supplied X-amp. Finally got it to work after putting a load on it(duh). Severe gain problem, I.
think the chip is going into protect mode because of the high gain going in it.
It has an input buffer with a tl-072 op that is causing the problem. I think.
