University Medallion XII's

I came across a great deal on a few pairs of speakers locally and could not pass them up. I'll start with these University Medallion XII's.

I do not have these positioned correctly or on my "best gear". First impressions are they will make a very nice party speaker. Great w/ RnR and they like power.

Here is a pic of Mitzi enjoying Ray Manzarek's "Perfumed Garden" through the University Medallion XII.

More pics and impressions to follow.

Do the grills come off? Have you found the specs for them? I like the dog. When I was a kid we raised them. Very smart dogs and they will try to protect.

Ain't that the truth. We have not found a food she will not eat yet.

Larry, the grills do come off. I plan on posting some more pics and thoughts down the road. The are definately a rock n roll party speaker on the lines of the L100 but they seem to do ok with other types of music.

Are they a local brand? I never heard of them before. It is always good when a speaker can look like a piece of furniture. They do look well built.

Ya'll playin' "Who Let the Dogs Out?" Very cute pups :thumbleft: Unlike cats that scratch and spray, get up on electronics because they're nice and warm, then vomit a hairball on the cooling vents

I really like that geode Dave, nice piece! Do you collect crystals? Tucson has the largest Gem & Mineral Show in the US every February http://tgms.org/ I know folks in the biz, get you a great deal, I love looking at old things :bootyshake:

Yes they do. And they are characters, we do a lot of fishing together, their place is on the way to the river. We also have a family reunion at the river every summer.
