Notice that the first one seems to be on a variac...and when I compared it to a Norge refrigerator last time I was NOT kidding.

Holy crap! That radio makes a Zenith Stratosphere look pretty low rent. Three way speakers 2 big class AB amps, all wave tuner....WOW!

Crosley used to be a worthwhile brand back then. Bell & Howell now sells sunglasses and flashlights...

As for the baby turntable, it has a proper magnetic cart on it, unlike most of crosley's "full size" record players....

So is the actual broadcasting facility, cooling pond like a nuke reactor, radio towers and all. The part that transmitted 500,000 watts in the 1930s needed a pond IIRC.

Old Powel was stone cold and in business. He created the car company too.
