Making chili and Carly is making sweet cornbread. Does anyone else watch Westerns and old movies. Just finished watching Tom Horn. Good movie I like old B&Ws also. I do TCMs alot. Just found a retro channel. They are playing westerns. As a kid when I stayed with my Aunt and Uncle I watched B&Ws all night on Channel 5 out of DC.

What do you guys watch? Any favorites?

I used to love to watch old westerns. But all that's really left in my memory are all the Clint Eastwood ones. Actually, i guess I'm a fan of pretty much everything he's done. I like old movies too. I've been wanting to see "The Best Years of Our Lives" for awhile. Not a feel good movie however.

The oldest movie I think is cool is a silent film called Metropolis. Make sure to watch the black and white restoration, not the color fail. Also, if your up to it, turn down the movie music and play Dark Side of the Moon in the background. Some spooky sh*t.

I like Gran Torino with Eastwood. Not many that John Wayne made that I don't like. Watching Hackman in The Conversation right now.

I'd love to cook but I just can't get them to simmer.
