After reviewing Ronins and chlboa and stuwee's entries on "what are you listening to now", had to start on concerts.

The latest and greatest just a couple years ago. At the Casper Events Center, Casper< Wyo. Metallica, fronted by Godsmack. Godsmack played their ass off. Halfway through another FULL set of drums appears and Sully and the drummer had DRUM WARS for 30 #*%&ing minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not only can Sully sing, he could play drums anywhere for anybody!!! If they were shit it wouldn't have meant much, but these guys were GOOD, most of it ad-libbed and terriffic! Bout screamed ourselves out over that.
Not wanting to be outdone Metallica came out and gave us our money's worth/. 65.00 I think. Played for 2 solid hours. I don't think the size of the crowd is what trips an entertainer, but how the crowd responds and interacts. And with a big name act they get a good reception up here, cause we're so damn glad someone made it!!!

Man, I've had some "Walmart Freakouts" myself. Especially when we lived in Sarasota. I don't know why, but on weekends there'd be entire extended families there (like 10 to 15 people, including lil screamin brats). Trying to get to where you needed to go required use of a cattle prod! I have actually left my cart in the middle of an isle and walked out before, fed up.

Cirque du Soleil just announced that tickets go on sale soon for a show IN JANUARY 2012!

I'm already scheduled to be sacrificed by Mayans on that date while they play It's The End Of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine). Can't make it, supposedly nobody else will either.

I gave up on concerts about 30 years ago.

I don't drink or smoke and I don't like loud noises either unless I am making them. :cyclops:
