Larry, I'm trying to locate the AM2 board that would take your processor...I might not have it anymore and if I so find it (today) I need to go to the computer repair shop and get told if it's any good (also today).

I need at least one more person than I have here anyhow. I'll hurry.

If I even have that board I still haven't found it. I got a lot of stuff moved, picked up and thrown out and it's starting to resemble a nice home again. My hip still wants to hurt in the morning and stooping can be a challenfe as is balancing with a heavy object walking through stuff but here's a idea...

Well, Lee sent me a Dell laptop and I was also given a Compaq Evo D51C(D510)...Both of them still need an ethernet driver then a bunch o' OS updates but the video and sound are now there

I believe I have the correct ethernet drivers ready to save and load. I'll see if I can have them all going tonight

9 is for Vista and 7, amd 8 next year.

7 isn't much better but since Nutscrape 6 stunk to me I swtiched to IE 5.5

and put up with it until I had an OS and computer that would run 6.

I've got CEDs and no player....

I've got my right knee wrapped so I can go put my old $10 cabinet in the shed til tmorning and shelve some things and go to bed/ No more work, it's allmost 3 am.
