Carver C1 preamp good looking 100% functional

Trying to raise money for my upcoming eye surgery since my insurance only covers some

Asking $275 shipped obo in the US for this 100% functioning excellent condition preamp. A few light marks on the top, no crappy faceplate either!!! My image makes the marks on the top show more, look down from the top and you barely see anything. I would NOT offer a piece of crap to someone, this is my beloved C1 and I just have to sell some stuff so I can take care of my eyes!!

This has never been monkeyed with and the previous owner only used his stereo sporadically so this has seen little use since new. No weird hums or other issues. Danimal1969 has heard this before I put my Perreaux back to work. He can tell you how nice this unit sounds

I sincerely regret even thinking of letting this go but I have my Perreaux which is my main preamp anyway

This matches up well with ANY WOPL, has a very good phono stage for MC,MM and of course MI

I did not dust everything perfectly so you may see some in the images

If I didn't already have a C1, I'd be all over this. I love mine. It really puts the juice to the 400, and sounds great.

I have an apt today with the Ophthalmologist at 2pm, hopefully this is sold before then. Make a reasonable offer please. Again, this is a NICE 100% operational unit. I considered having the BillD mod done but right now, I have to save every dollar towards my eye surgery

My appointment was moved to this Friday at a much closer location in Glastonbury. I think that is where any surgery will be done also. I am not looking forward to this (pardon the pun) but maybe Navo has an ophthalmologist babe wanting to give old one eye an oral exam for the anesthetic portion
