Must have gotten a killer deal on gas somewhere...
Looks like the exploding gas tank was more harmful to the car hitting the Pinto, provided that the Pinto driver can get out of his car.

I wouldn't want to be in either one.
Didn't the Pinto fiasco result in different rules for "drop-in tanks"?
I guess his estate won't have to pay for a cremation..........

Yeah I think the Pinto did and they made it in to refried Beans. If the Impala made it then it was probably skewered and rotisserie d and barbequed too.

Don't know. I switched to a shorter line after taking the photo. I figured I'd rather be in front of him!
