I am still looking for a good meter, one that I can use for this backplane build and all the other vintage pieces that I have. All I have now is a Fluke 7-300 and it will not do what I need.

I need one that can read Capacitors, resistors etc. What would you recommend? Fluke? Anyone have a meter that can do this that they are not using and want to part with for reasonable $$$?

Thanks, Brett

Hi Brett
For a portable, you really cannot beat a Fluke 179 as a great all around meter.
