I just picked this up and what a joy to find this incredible classic!
Let me translate that. Oh Boy, I can make some quick coin on this one.
I powered it up briefly and the (internal surge protector) kicked on correctly, the lights all came on too except for the (Bose light). I didn't leave it powered up too long either.
This means he did not trust the amp to stay on for longer than the lighting of the bulbs because any use of this amp might require a significant amount of work to fix what might happen. He does know it needs a recap of some parts and does not want to damage the amp before cashing in.
