Haven't been around much this past week. Been horribly ill with the mumps. Ever had the mumps before? Not recommended, not recommend at all.

Didn't you get immunized as a child for mumps. We had to to go to school. I haven't heard of anyone having them in years. I feel for you. I hear they are not fun for an adult for sure. They can make you sterile I think.

That doesn't sound like much fun. I had chicken pox as an adult, but it was fairly mild. Hopefully you are getting better fast.

Surprisingly, I didn't yet have my Mumps and some other important immunization finished when I was nearly ready to graduate and had to get them to do so!

Both arms, like the army!

Dang, Broons, I had to google adult mumps, shocking how nasty it is, get well dude, hugs from afar hehe, I'm layed up with a bad back, which I know you're familiar with, take care!

I had no idea until a few days ago that a mumps vaccine even existed. Too late to save this sorry ass.

Here you got one shot it was called MMR. Mumps , Measles, and Rubella. I had to do one a couple years ago because I didn't have proof I had the shoot. I was going to enroll in a JR. college.

I hope you feel better. Did you get them on both sides. If you only got it on one side I think you are still susceptible. I'm not sure.

How long have you had it? Getting any better?

It's been 8 days now but I'm starting to feel better. Zero appetite, have probably lost 10 pounds (which at 46 is definitely not a bad thing).
To answer your question Larry, swelling only on one side of my throat thankfully.
