Signe Toly Anderson, lead vocalist of Jefferson Airplane on the first album, Jefferson Airplane Takes Off, has died of COPD related illness at the age of 74 on Thursday, January 28, 2016, the same date Paul Kantner passed away.

Signe left the band to raise her new baby and was replaced by Grace Slick, after which the band's popularity became a 60s legend. She said once that she never regretted her decision to leave and she remained close friends with the other members.

Grace is retired from performing and is happy to paint white rabbits and such for friends who pay her well, she is an accomplished painter and happy not to even try to look 40 anymore.

It's China's turn for that.

UMM, I totally did NOT see the photobombing back there.
