I currently have the Music Hall MMF 2.2 but am iontrigued by the new Pro-Ject Debut Carbon. As I'm sure you all know, it has the carbon composite tonearm which was previously only on the upper end on the Pro-Jects product line. I do not know if there would be a decernable difference between the Music Hall and the Pro-Ject, as the Music Hall is basically a re-badged Pro-Ject. Even has Pro-Ject printed on the tonearm. Is it worth the upgrade as both tables are "entry level"? I do have the Acrylic platter, counterweight, and cartridge upgraded. Still using the Audio Technica AT120E, but have the Shure M97xE sitting here looking at me.

I wish I knew. I was unhappy with both projects ( 1.2 and debutiii) in sound and wobbly sub-platter performance. Basic arms. The base Rega TTs appear the same, but it seems that there is a bit more talk about the arms on those Rega TT's.
