You already know who would like one eventually. Just not for a couple months. But what are you wanting, for everyone's sake, you have to price it?

This is the SR-303 with an RG-2 and TX-D1000 (sort of like the tuner version of SX-D5000/7000). RG-9 has a green shaded Fluoroscan display instead of blue...Pioneer was moving to green over that period I gather. In 1981 the next models (the ones that lost most of the knobs that everyone griped about) had green displays and that would continue for a few years, and by the late eighties that copper brownish yellow filtering.

It's done with an overlay, much like Sansui RAs but more monochromatic.

I had two or three models over time but the laboratory has gone way beyond their size.

And it will here it about five daze, says USPS. They've been running early lately, maybe it's a good thing.

I need time to subdivide the entertainment center and it's side shelves for logical flow and gear placement.

The box took a big dent in a corner but that was nowhere near where Ron had the Pioneer and it required no bionics, showed signs of life immediately, now I have to rearrange the entire right side stack and get it hooked in with the rest like I said. Ron packed it just right and I see no signs that it even shifted when the box took the ding. NICE.

PICS, and thanks Ron!

It's a good looking one Steven and works 100% (at least it did for the couple weeks I had it hooked up in the garage to the Denon receiver and Bose 501 series floor standers). Glad it made it safe, I always try to pad the edges well as the freakin' gorilla's toss packages like in the American Tourister commercials. Thanks for giving it a good home
