Perhaps we should start an obituary thread...

Sir Christopher Lee passed away Sunday, best known for the Dracula movies from Hammer Studios in England.
 
I saw Ornette Coleman in 1980/81 at jazz room in Vancouver. Long gone now, it was underneath a small hotel on Burrard Street. My ex-brother in law (I divorced him) was a sax player and a fan so he took me along. He said Ornette used that dark, artistic substance that starts with H and I have to say, he did not open his eyes once while he played.
