I am slowly entering in my entire music collection on RYM (rateyourmusic.com) & I listen to each album before I rate it. Some of the stuff I haven't listened to in years, usually because it isn't a favorite. Today it was Sons Of Otis "Temple Ball" (calling Rex Everything...). I never cared for the cd much, but today it finally clicked & I'm really digging it.

So what albums do you now like that clicked for you all of a sudden?

Great topic! This has happened alot to me over the years. One that springs to mind is Judas Priest's "Sad Wings Of Destiny". Bought it, didn't like it, dug it out a few years later and now it's one of my favorites by them.

That's got my favorite Judas Priest song - "Victim of Changes", but yeah that album & Rocka Rolla don't sound like their later stuff.

If you say you have that on vinyl and if you say it's a Man's Ruin release I am gonna head down to MS and pilfer a certain record collection.

I have an album for me that I could not stand at all when it came out. It came out in the mid 80's and was one every radio station and stereo in the land I think. I got it in a collection I bought and threw it on for fun.

The recording is nice and the sound is great. Songs are strong pop tunes and over all it brings back a lot of memories of my teens(as it was being played everywhere as stated above)

The Outfield ~ Play Deep

No, I've got a bunch of Man's Ruin CD's, but no vinyl. That was before I got back into vinyl - sure wish I had some now though.
