Rudd, 60, was charged with attempting to arrange the murders of two New Zealand men and possession of cannabis and methamphetamine.

He has previously been arrested for cannabis possession (2010) and was kicked out of the band for a few years in 1983, returning in 1994.

Yes, the authorities had an embarrassing about face and found a lack of evidence...he's STILL facing charges of threatening to kill and the drug charges.
