Mom's coming over Friday afternoon to help me...a new pair of New Balance shoes and a new coat. I'm paying for the shoes and then taking her to dinner at our friend's restaurant.
The day after that, Saturday the 4th would have been mom and dad's 46th anniversary. I'm making a card and I've ordered two red roses so I could tell her that the date will always be special to all of us.
Dad died about 6 weeks ago and I didn't want Mom to feel lonely on the day of her wedding. Mom has given so much to us now it's my turn to return all of that.
