The Rotel is cool but not even remotely $3400 cool

I think the Dunlap Clarke is cooler
 
Rack handles on the DC look familiar...The Rote is a beast...but for 3400 a fella can have him a couple WOPL 1000'S ....IOW Mike, never heard of the DC mike. The Rotel I've only seen one other on e-bay..

That Rotel is a beaut, isn't she? But I'll keep my pair of WOPL-1K's...I'm pretty sure that the WOPL's would run circles around it in a head to head play off.
But if I was a rich man I'd buy it just for the looks. It is stunning looking.
 
Well I just thought they were interesting. I've never even heard of a DC amp. For the money WOPL would blow
the ROTEL a rooter to dust, just something I hadn't seen before.
 
I agree with el magnifico, the Rotel ain't no bargain at 3400.00, but as the seller says, pricing is more to its "rarity" than condition.....where do these people come from....a museum piece belongs in the Smithsonian....And 500WPC is nothing to sneeze at, but the seller will "take offers " fellas...
 
Here's a "rare 700B", powers on and works great , has a slight "burning smell' .....F*&^%$ e-bay man...

Dave, when you're in the security line at Skyharbor, moo like a cow a little bit as they herd you through the ssss's, it's a gas and the TSA loves it!!
 
That poor amp needs Dr. Lee and the seller needed Dr. Spock.
