Anybody have an alternative to the bias transistors on the 700 II? I think the original is a 2N3403....... I got a left channel running WFO and I think the original is toast. Didn't get a chance to troubleshoot yet but I'm sure (fairly) since pretty much the rest of the amp has all new parts. I was just laying here thinking about it. The DBT test dims then the bulb goes out., the DC Protection board doesn't click in so I gots me a small problem. I'll dig in hard tomorrow after work. It's a stock 700II full comp, with MJ21196's and MJ21195's in the back and a DCP, and the control board has been rebuilt.

Cool, if the originals are bad, I have those. I have not looked at anything, I just plugged it in to the DBT, it didn't work and I needed to crash.

Yeah, had DC on the output. Replaced both Bias Transistors as the wires were not in the best of shape and the left one had a broken lead which if I remember right, Joe said it would turn that channel on which it did. I have only the bottom row of tranny's in and the DC protection still won't switch, I may still have an issue on the control board (Q103 mps A93). It looks like it got a lead damaged in the TS process. Don't know if that would cause DCP not to function though. I'll look at it tomorrow.
