All I remember is the horse drawn hearse. I think I was in the 1st grade. I do know this president could learn a few things from him.

In reverse Ask not what your country can do for you. He was going to kick the SA out of the country if they didn't stop sending all the money the Americans gave back to England. He lowered taxes which increased jobs. There is more.

I could say the same in reverse. Kennedy was at best an average president. If he hadn't been assassinated he would be long forgotten.
So the Bay of Pigs, Cuban Missile Crisis, Peace Corps, Call to the Moon, his brother Robert...

none of that grabs you otherwise?

Obama goes after Libya and not Iran. HMMMMMMMMMM He did stop the Soviets in Cuba. Yes just heard a report yesterday. Hate crimes against Jews is up 10 times more than Muslims according to the FBI. Are you better off than you were 4 years ago? Is this country better off than 4 years ago?

Here you go again blaming everything on Obama. Most of the economic mess origins go back to Reagan, all the presidents since then jumped on the band wagon and made a mess, Bush pushed us over the top and Obama inherited the mess.

I like Obama cause he represents the little guy and isn't in cahoots with big business. He is trying to help everyone out.

As far as Iran hopefully they have Nuclear weapons so we leave them alone, who appointed the US world police anyway. At least Obama is getting us out of these senseless and unnecessary wars.

Not in cahoots with big business. Surely ye jest. GE, Unions. No corruption in this White House. Out for the little guy who? I am blaming him for what he has done and hasn't done. I'm not a big Bush fan either. Chicago politics at its finest. He hasn't helped me one iota.

None of the yahoo's we have in DC nowadays has helped. If the public would stop voting just on "party loyalty" and started voting for those who made sense (well hell.. seen many of THOSE around? I sure haven't), if we had term limits to eliminate the "set for life" meal-ticket mentality.. then maybe this country might look like a real democracy and not run by a bunch of "ole boys"

No president can turn things around in just one day or even four years. It took 16 years to get out of the great depression and only because we geared up for a war. So why would you think things can turn around in 3 years?

It doesn't matter who get elected because they ll belong to the gridlock association. I wish they would pass a balanced budget amendment and quit spending more than we have.

The more countries that have nuclear weapons the better in my mind. The US doesn't want Iran or North Korea to have weapons but what did we do to stop China from having them. The way I see if it they have the weapons then we will stop trying to bully them. Either you like them and trade with them or you don't like them and don't trade with them. Unless you are the US then you can be wishy washy in what you like and don't like and whome you trade with. :cyclops:

I agree with the balance budget. We haven't had a budget in 3 years. 15 trillion in debt. I am a constitutionalist. So I did not agree with Bush on a lot of things. We are starting to get progressive Republicans and Bush was one.

No More Insider Trading for Congress. Just plain bribes if you ask me.

It was forty-eight years ago today,
Sgt. Pepper taught the band to play
They've been going in and out of style
But they're guaranteed to raise a smile.
So may I introduce to you
The act you've known for all these years,
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
We're Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band,
We hope you will enjoy the show,
We're Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band,
Sit back and let the evening go.
Sgt. Pepper's lonely, Sgt. Pepper's lonely,
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
It's wonderful to be here,
It's certainly a thrill.
You're such a lovely audience,
We'd like to take you home with us,
We'd love to take you home.
I don't really want to stop the show,
But I thought that you might like to know,
That the singer's going to sing a song,
And he wants you all to sing along.
So let me introduce to you
The one and only Billy Shears
And Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
