400 relay board

I'm on my last batch of the 400 relay boards. The 400 uses a chip for the detection circuit. sooner or later it will be obsolete. Do I start a knew design with the same circuit as the 700 relay board or ride it out and hope the chips last a little longer. If I ride it out I and i run out of chips I could be stuck with a lot of boards. The chip is UPC 1237.

Where have you been getting the chips, I could use a couple. In fact I need 4-700 Bare boards and 1-400 board with a chip..

MCM shows them in stock. The chip came up in a saved search on EBAY, but I am reluctant to buy due to counterfeit issues.

The thing I like about the chip is it can be set to require the user to power off and then back on when a trip occurs.

the latchiin relays I'm familiar with latch in wheen you apply power. In this case when the power from the relay is removed you want it to disengage and not pick up again until powr is cycled.
