2017 Tour de France

The time trials aren't as fun to watch as other days' racing. I'll check in during the event. I like to see the scenery, also but frequently they don't have much, just some videos from motorcycles. I hate the way those motors are so close to the pack up front. Leader breathing catalytic converted exhaust fumes. What a wonderful ride.

I did get to see a pro boxing fight live for the first time in decades since ESPN had the Pacquiao Horn fight. What a result, local judges throw the fight to the local boy.

It's like NASCAR, except that it's not over in 4 hours and NOBODY will ever do 190 mph spins.

Then again, dogs and spectators don't get in your way at Charlotte or Talladega.

A nasty soggy start, then a 60 bike pile up near the end in Liege, those cars are there for a reason XJ, fast response with a fresh bike after a spill for the front runners, I agree I wouldn't want to breath that crap for hours! Part of the race, imagine what it was like 20 years ago *Cough* *choke* *Vomit*...

Loved the end of the sprint, too C00L

I always watch Giro d'Italia and Tour de France .
The 2017 edition of Tour has no a real leader ( just like the 2017 Giro ) , so
I am waiting the second hilly stage ( 5th ) and the first mountain stage ( 9th )
to understand something .
Ciao
Marco

That was Lance's performance enhancing drug...

Why are the other teams bitching about Team Sky's suits?? Hello, it's called progress!! Sorry your sponsor couldn't afford something better :king: Deal with it!!

Love to all the crazy MoFo fans!! :stop: with the flares tho!!

As Marco predicted, the Italians show who is the boss in the mountains  Dang, how can a body get that burst of speed!!!

Go Aru!!!! NICE!! 20% gradient coming up...

Stuwee ,
now it's necessary to wait for the 9th stage .( the first mountain stage )
Quintana , Contador , Froome and Aru could win .
It's a strange route .
Ciao
Marco

2017 is a fantastic season not only for cycling ,
but also for F1 ( Vettel / Hamilton ) and for Moto GP ( Rossi ,Vignales , Dovizioso and Marquez )
:happy7:

As long as nobody lets their dog run into the pack like one year...that made me sick.

Brutal stage 9, 22% gradient with a very fast, very narrow finish happening now :blob2:

2 days ago, a fantastic show by the French car nuts, 3 Citroen 2CV's racing alongside the bikes in a field, sunroofs rolled back, fans standing through them waving them on :notworthy:, at the little cars top speed of 40mph on a rough plowed field, the [SIZE=+2]Deux Chevaux is just so cool!!

I could have done without the fat guys in red speedo's :-o but, bless their hearts for being there!

DSC_5347.JPGThe last Tour De France I saw was at the Wang Theater in Boston... Oct 2015. ;)

And the winner is Froom !!! Congrats!!!
He's simply the best .
Aru is not so strong and his team ( Astana ) is not the Sky team .
Ciao

Hey John, were ya been? Nice to hear from ya buddy!!!

Marco, stage 19!!!! Wow , gonna be a nail bitter!!!

Hi Stuwee.... I've been around. Kid is 8yo now, Boy Scouts, baseball, traveling... and I bought an early watercooled 911 somewhere along the way to keep me busy. Also, I got into driving the Nurburgring on Assetto Corsa PC game. LOL!

Still listening to tape, though! That will never change!

Love doing that!! Your Yello you sent me shocks even me, love ya bro!!
