Is anybody else watching?

Whilst I don’t expect my team (England) to make much progress, I’ll dip into the matches when time allows. I’m tipping either Spain or Germany to win the tournament.

I thought the USA did pretty well last night. If Ghana had played better in the first half then the score might have been different.

Football (soccer) has always had a homo-erotic undercurrent - although the silly haircuts, shaved chests and tattoos on display over in Brazil this time around do make me feel slightly more queasy than normal. :pukeleft: :laughing1:

Watching from the US, last night's late game drama was certainly more than welcome. England may have lost to Italy, but with Uruguay getting smacked around, I think there's still room for a second place finish and going through.

I'm watching FIFA World Cup , of course .
Till now I have seen some surprises : Uruguay vs . Costarica , Netherlands vs Spain and yesterday
Brazil vs Mexico .
It's hard now to predict who will be the winner , but in my opinion Netherlands is the strongest team .
Anyways : Forza Italia !
Ciao
Marco

Am I the only one watching Germany v Ghana? Things have gotten interesting to say the least.

Germany vs. Ghana was a good one, and last night's 2-2 portugal - US game was a good watch even if it was a downer to see them give away the win in the last seconds.

Netherlands looks great. Not sure any teams are looking better so far.
