    PL7000S2

I just ordered a custom manual for the 122 MK III, with the Owners manual and the custom Service manual which has the schematics straightened out so you can see them. Diagrams in the service manual have been split into multiple pages and made larger, so that small details are easier to read...

    PL7000S2

The transport assembly is in perfect working condition so it will wait till the next service. I seen a bunch of guys fuck the surface mount motor control boards and they were problematic after the work.

    PL7000S2

I gotta find a good READABLE 122 MKIII schematic so I can try to trace the Meter Signal for the left channel. The left meter doesn't deflect, the red Peak LED and the lamp work fine, I have meter deflection on the right channel and the deck output sounds great it's just no Left meter. Both...

    PL7000S2

George, what's a good set of heads for the MK III look like? I got the transport sitting in front of me and need a comparison. It's my friends deck and I'm doing a bit of work to it for him. The transport, outside of being a little dusty looks to be in perfect shape. Even the grease between the...

Hey Joe, I can't give you the Full Monte yet....... And I still need a cooling fan. You just can't jump to lightspeed without a proper radiator. I found my good 4" hole saw so that oughtta be an adventure. :)

Got some more progress done with "The Porcupine" Load Bank. I got to sit on my ass and started laying out how I want the face plate to look. Came up with a plan to get it up and operating soon. I have to order a stencil, or, for a few more bucks I can get a nicer Acrylic sign for the front of...

    Phase Linear 200 rebuild

If the manual is worth a shit, unlike the sansewer Integrated I just reworked, the manual tells you to adjust VR4 for xxx and there isn't a VR4. I'll hit the manual and do what I can.

    Phase Linear 200 rebuild

Anybody found any newer info on updating the PL200B and the PL200II? I'm heading to Chicago area to deliver some gear and pick up some gear for repairs. He's got 2 of the 200's (a series II and the 200B) and they need some TLC and I'm upgrading everything in both amps, caps, transistors...

    Billion Watt Load Bank Build

Joe, I've been using the cobbled bleed wire I made years ago, never sparks when using, and it has 2 series resistors which are 5 ohm 50 watt each.... Is that not sufficient? Maybe with the switch in line, I need to go to a 470 Ohm instead of my 10 ohms 100 Watts?? I was going to make my own...

    Billion Watt Load Bank Build

Shit, I do believe thats Ghetto Cobbling. Damn, next thing ya know, I'll be using buckets of Kentucky Jelly to cool my water heater element or move my bench into the bathroom and just hang it in the toilet. When the bowl is getting hot, I'll just flush a couple times to cool er down.
