Trying to find out what size this resistor is in my unit. I am having trouble figuring the color code on this resistor it is in a Sonographe SC25. My unit was modded and I am going back to original, but this resistor and the cap next to it were removed and would like to replace but do not know...

Hooked up and listening to it for about a hour now, sounds great. Again thanks to everyone for the help.

Got the new fuses, moved the green wire with yellow strip to the #three pad what I believe to be the ground, tested the 22v rail test points and they tested 24v, no longer blowing fuses. Have not hooked it up to amp yet, will do that tomorrow to see if it works. Thanks for everyone's help.

Did not get a chance to measure on the +/- 22v rails before my last fuse went but have ordered some more. The bridge rectifier is new and put in according to the schematic and tested good.

I did what you asked and it lasted about fifteen seconds and fried the fuse, but I got to test the jumpers that are 12VDC and they are real close to 12 volts. Took its temp right after in cooked the fuse and the 2200uF 25v caps were at about 180 degrees. Question: could the transformer power...

Remove all boards from mother board but the one that has the pot hanging off it, removed power supply/amp board and went completely through it and replaced any thing that was cooked or dead according to schematic. Put the PS back on the mother board and turned it on, lasted about fifteen seconds...

You asked a bunch of questions that I can not answer because every time I turn it on it blows the fuse, but I do thank everyone for all your help so far.

How about just a BAD P/S cap 2200uf 50v.

Yes have a schematic and r50, r51 get hot enough to take the skin right off your finger. My next question is are R50, R51 being used like emitter resistors and if they are do I need to cut the trace, and does anyone have a photo of where these two are on the board?

Got it all recapped and did all the service bulletins but when on the Dim bulb tester Resistors R50, R51 get hot enough to burn the paint off of them, are they to small at 75 ohms 2watt. If so what would be a good size?

Yea Mark, I was wondering if you could give me your input on VR1, VR2 on the C4000 power supply parts locator page of the SM, it has pin out of them as 1,3,2 is this correct and if so what can I use in place of them?

New question on the board 20005 or the correlator board, on the parts locator page of SM there is a cap on the IC3 on the solder side, does the + of the cap go to pin 11 of the IC and - go to pin 7 of the IC for the left channel, and should the right channel have the same? Thanks for any help...
