If you perform the firmware update via your phone, stay close to the unit until it is all complete.

A factory reset is safer than a firmware update. At least it can't brick the unit. In many cases a firmware update resets everything to default anyway.

The app wont install on windows 7, Lee is using the older version. When I installed the new version, it would not launch, just crashed. Needs win 8.1 and higher, so I rolled it back. We gotta get that blue sound factory reset.

Could not find firmware update, just the latest software, which wont run on windows 7. There's a possibility that the later software version could have a firmware update built into it.
