    Passive Horizontal Bi-Amping question

That's how I have it, 400 on the tweeters, 700 on the woofers. Since I scrapped the passive crossovers and went active I've found the compression driver tweeters are more sensitive than the woofers so I tweaked the gain with the MiniDSP. But since your biamping with passive crossovers this...

I metered my plasma and it bounced between 200-250 watts while I was watching, so 4-5 hours to equal a kilowatt hour

Yep longer length = more mass. I have one of those Sumiko type magnesium headshells with the adjustable azimuth but it weighs 12 grams by itself. I may still try it but the AT3600 still acts like a high compliance cartridge despite its high-ish tracking force. If you do get around to building...

Not just the patina but the original nicotine glaze is still there under the platter...... I might outta polish the rim of the platter though. I will find something to cover the old tonearm hole. The chrome plating is mostly gone from the knob. I also had to disable the anti skate as the string...

Okay the pictures are crappy but the arm cleaned up good and is mounted. AT3600 Carbon Fidelity cart mounted in a standard Technics headshell, aligned to Stevenson, tracking at 2.5 grams, damping set midway. I fiddled with the lateral balance but who knows, the manual was badly translated. I...

I'm surprised it got here in one piece (or at all). Quite dingey but everything seems to function. Gonna dismantle tonight. I might hit up Chris for a DIN cable as that one is pretty nasty.

I had to notch out the inside of the plinth to get 78 RPM to work. spun some shellac from the stack and it sounds great. I think this new plinth was a sonic upgrade as well as an aesthetic one. I hoping the Audiocraft arm and 200k cst oil gets here this week. Did you jump on that N-33H?

    what are you listening to?

Hey Nando you should see the '42 Philco it lives on top of. I restored the electronics in 2017? The plastic bezel is a reproduction but the finish on the cabinet is original

    what are you listening to?

840AM Classic Country on this 1961 Silvertone 2222a radio. I tweaked the trimmers/IF slugs and it woke right up and is hot AF. It ought to be with its 8 transistors, RF stage, 3 gang banana slicer, and ferrite bar antenna....

    HDMI To RCA Possible ?

Interesting that an inline HDMI audio extractor wouldn't work. I have one that I used with a projector for many years, kinda flaky but it did the trick. Does the TV have a digital out? HDMI ARC? I switched back to a direct view TV and am using its optical digital audio out and a DAC (basically)
