    Dual 1019 TT

Hi Guys, This morning a Dual 1019 TT followed me home (pictures soon). Does anyone know anything about this thing? A quick search appears to have some good things to say much to my surprise. It appears to be in pretty good condition less a couple cracks in the rear of the dust cover...

The 'scope is running and the bench coming together now!

A scope is a great thing to have if you are messing with anything electronic..... Great workshops all start one piece at a time. If you have not already checked them out, goto both the Tek and HP websites as they have lots of application notes on scopes and such. There are also some very...

Any opinions on this brand of sound equipment?

I know that Rolls has been around for a while but have never used any of their products. Most of it appears to be built fairly well. Will look forward to your review. Robert

    Pioneer CT-F9090

Hi Lee, I did a very quick look is all.... Replaced the two counter belts so a tape will continue to play. There is a motion sensor driven by the counter belt. If the sensor does not detect motion it turns the play function off after a couple seconds. The FF and RWD don't work hopefully...

DAT woes... Sony vs. Tascam vs. Panasonic...

I would pick either the Tascam or the Panasonic.... I have a Tascam DA20 but also considered Panasonic at the time. I just did not need a full featured deck so the DA20 fit the bill. In the studios around here Tascam and Panasonic were the decks everyone was using. Never had anything from...

I guess now is the time for me to make a genuine introduction.

Hi Peter, Welcome to the forum...... It's nice to see some younger folks that actually have an interest in something beyond themselves. Your job likely gives you first choice on the 'goods' which can be both good and bad. Robert
