A man on a mission…..find what sounds best to YOU !!! A worthy endeavor, especially in a hobby that many just drink the cool aid of others. The varying output gain is a real obstacle and I found using a SPL meter helpful in getting a more accurate comparison. Your switch box is the real genius...

He didn't test it correctly, should have had a vacuum pump and N2 purge going so that the cutting was done in an Oxygen Free atmosphere. Also none of that equipment is as sensitive as a human ear, especially a golden ear that is accustomed to listening to the very best (most expensive) audio...
