    Gasoline prices Skyrocketing!

Filled up with Diesel yesterday $4.40 ($4.39.9 to be exact) and that's Texas, going to be worse for the tree hugging states. Hang on to your boots boys, this is going to be bad.

Dahlquist DQ-10 series 4Ω-15W resistors smoking...

Might be better to attach the heatsink with a piece of bare wire twisted around the sink and resistor. JB Weld may insulate between the two and possibly cause the resistor to run even hotter.

Thanks George, that is similar but unfortunately the connector on mine is down in the tube and heavily glued. I have some de-bonding stuff that I am going to try but confidence is low that it will work. If I could figure out how the arm tube attaches to the main body then i could push it out...

    Pioneer SX-880 resurrection

Personally I like it without the clear, I would also be concerned that in time the clear would start to peel. Vinyl will offgas over time, they do make “plastic” spray paint but there are hundreds of vinyl formulations so longevity could still be an issue.

Should have taken more pictures but there are differences between the one that came on the TT and the stand alone unit. Nothing major but the main bearing housings are slightly different, one is in a brass sleeve and the other a chromed brass sleeve, the chromed sleeve places the bearings...
