Jle, Referring to what Snif said.... There are basically 2 versions of the 400. An early design that had limited cooling, known as the "4fin 400". And the later that had the heatsinks "wrap" around each row of outputs. I believe the design change was to accommodate a change in how amplifiers...- Mohawk

Not So Sure
This is a very deep and jaged rabbit hole indeed.. Some dislike Paul McGowan ( PS ) audio but I have his book and set up cd and it's full of good stuff... Discussion on theory, set up/ speaker placement and tests to prove the adjustments... Read the instructions in the book and run the...- Mohawk

Not So Sure
I have spent many hours on many occasions "zeroing" my system for crossover piont, slope and "EQ" ing ..... House curve , Yada Yada Yada.... Once I finish and start listening to a couple of "GO TO" tracks then is starts to unravel... A tweak hear and there because it just doesn't sound quite...- Mohawk
